Get a class-action refund on diamond purchases

Janet sent me this link about a DeBeers class-action claim.  Basically you might be entitled to a refund if you purchased a diamond or diamond-containing jewelry between Jan 1, 1994 and Mar 31, 2006.

Here is the claim site:

The form was very easy to fill out online.  I just entered my name, address, and the purchase price of Janet's engagement ring.  At the moment it only requests you send in a copy of a receipt if the value is over $10,000 (*cough*), but they do say you might need proof of purchase later.

Depending on the number of people who make claims, it might be worth a couple hundred dollars in refund, so I thought it was worth a shot (especially if you know where your receipt is hiding).

(no subject)

I installed Janet's new hard drive into her computer yesterday.  Windows XP with SP2 is back up and running.  I transferred her files back.  And she can play Age of Empires 3 once again.

I start at Quest on Monday at 8:30am.  Only now am I beginning to get a little nervous.  But not too much.

Spent today cleaning up the kitchen.  It was a mess.  Yesterday I had cleaned up the Christmas stuff in the living room and took them down to the basement.  Also cleaned up the basement a bit.  Hosting AOE3 LAN party again this weekend.

Last night we had an italian dinner for smallgroup at Chad & Shelley's.  Yum!  Also had birthday cake for Isaac's 1st birthday.

Afterward I played a game of AOE3 by myself (maybe I had too much caffeine?), and again this afternoon.

Tomorrow I need to do a deeper cleaning of the kitchen and living room.  Will probably involve Swiffer sweeping and mopping.  And I want to vacuum the carpets.  But we need to electric-tape a nick in the vacuum cleaner cord first.

Tonight I have my 4th Business Statistics class.  Learning a lot of stuff about Excel.  Have some homework to do :-(

Tomorrow night we'll be having dinner at Janet's mom's house.

Saturday afternoon we're going to Shady Maple to celebrate Zach Hunter's birthday.

Saturday evening we're hosting AOE3 LAN party.

Sunday morning is church (and I have setup and tear-down).

Sunday afternoon my sister, brother-in-law and nephew will be coming for a visit.

Busy, busy, busy weekend!  But should be fun too!  :-)

Now I have to go prepare my dinner before heading off to class.  Meatball sandwich!  They meatballs have been cooking in the crockpot all day long.  YUMMMMM!!!!!
